The next morning I was up early and taking pictures of Humdinger Peak bathed in the sun.

Here is my favorite trick with the lake reflection image….. rotate it 90 degrees and guess which side is the reflection.

Today, Zac and I set off for South Loon Peak, center image. It might not look like much from here but South Loon is one of the tallest peaks in these parts and a good 2000 feet above our base camp.

As we climb, all the other Lick Creeks Mountains come into view.

At the ridge, we look down on Enos Lake.

Zac takes a moment to ponder the meaning of life.

Across the valley, Ho Lake. When I told Zac about Ho Lake is instantly made connections to people in his life.

Summit!

Back down the mountain, we stop in the shade to enjoy lunch and a tasty beverage.

One last image from the day of Hum Ridge and a grassy knoll.
