Thursday mornings and it is time for the Loop around the Sound. You know it is time to head to the mountains when the standing start time changes from 7:00 am to 6:00 am. The early start time moving forward is good for the upcoming hot Florida summer days but for me, it means an o-dark-thirty rise and about a 5:00 am roll from my home in Pensacola to make the Whataburger start time! You have to admit, watching the sun rise while rolling 23 MPH is pretty cool!

I made a special request to stop along the 20ish miles to Navarre Beach and shoot a group photo.
I really appreciate this group of “Loopers”. It has been fun for this old man to have a regular hard ride. A big thank you to Daryl, Jeff, Jorge, Mike, (Dennis who is not picture because he is in Cincinnati) and all the other dudes who roll into and out of this ride. I will think of y’all suffering in the heat and I will see you next fall when the ride time returns to 7:00 am.
