Tuesdays down in Florida have become the old retire guy rides. It was an absolutely gorgeous day so we headed out to the State Forests of Northwest Florida. Controlled burns are not just a thing in Idaho, they are quite popular here too, notice the smoke hanging in the forest?

My usual partners in crime on Tuesday are Mike and Bruce.

Ready set “Action!” The Tour De Taco I learned today was an organized ride from years gone by. Apparently at the end of the ride someone was cooking up tacos. No tacos today!

Mike asked if he could put some photos on my blog so here ya go buddy!

The water crossing on Short Creek is always good for wet feet the rest of the ride. Notice Mike is sprinting across as he did not want his photo carrying his bike. Apparently not riding water crossings is considered failure in the Special Forces!
This was my last Tuesday gravel ride for the Spring Season so I want to throw out a big thanks to Mike and Bruce. I appreciate these southern gentlemen taking me under their wings and showing me the Floridaman adventure lifestyle. I warned them that we will be taking it up a notch next Fall ” à l’automne, bon pour le moment!”
