Mike, Bruce, and I were looking for a casual Sunday ride so we met up at the University of West Florida Trailhead. This is a really nice groomed and rolling trail system but when you look at the map it resembles a pile of spaghetti….. when you get in the woods and start riding, it’s like being in a corn maze.
Turns out that it was quite warm and humid today and I was a bit overdressed. A stark contrast to things back in McCall.
These trails are quite sandy but with recent rains and a nice bed of pine needles the rolled very well.
I’ve be trying to get Mike to upgrade his bike, I think his Trek came over from Europe on the Mayflower. I’m afraid if he does upgrade that I may need to switch to an e-bike.
Meanwhile, Bruce uses Pickle Ball Training to get fast on a bike! It was a fine Sunday morning at dirt church!
