Tour de Clarkston, Washington

I’m preparing to fly back to Florida to the warm gentle breezes of the Gulf Coast so I needed to kill a little time in Clarkston prior to my flight. I decided to go on a long walk and it turns out the theme of the stroll would be birds. In this case, turkeys. I was unable to surmise why they were crossing the road.

After walking down to the Snake River, I found these geese below the bridge.

This area has a pretty nice path along the river. I have ridden my bike around these parts many times!

Ducks and a seagull.

A one leg goose. Actually, I think I just woke him from his nap. Can you imagine mastering the art of sleeping while standing on one foot?

The landmark Blue Bridge connecting Clarkston and Lewiston.

As a reward for my long walk, I stopped in at Taco Time, my favorite fast food Mexican restaurant for a soft taco and a cat butt. No Taco Times in Florida!

Finally, speaking of butts, anyone who knows me knows that I love camper names and this is a pretty good one! Almost as good as the “Wind River” or “The Bushwacker Plus”. Even the art work around the “Blast” fits the bill.
