It’s time for a break from the relocation activities. I headed out for a quick camp trip in of all places……Mississippi.
I’ve had my eye on this spot for some time and finally managed to incorporate it into the Davefaitlemonde agenda.
When you think of the State of Mississippi, national forest lands are not the first thing that comes to mind. Well, these southern forests in the winter are real hidden gems! This one checks all the boxes, great camp spot, hiking, biking trails, and amazing scenery.
I’m not able to spend the time here today that will be required to suss this area out completely but I will return!

Finally, some wildlife! These turtles were enjoying some late evening sun. Keep in mind, late evening at this particular location is about 4:00 in the afternoon.
