On our way out of France Jill and I spent the day in Montpellier. It was an interesting transition as we departed the quiet French countryside and entered the hussley bussley French city.

Of course it would not be France without a protest.

On Sunday morning we were up early and decided to walk 10 miles throughout the city.

Old churches and graffiti.

Montpellier’s version of the Arch de Triumph.

Sunday morning and not much was moving yet.

Promenade du Peyrou.

Chateau d’eau du Peyrou. It’s an 18th century water tank.

Reflections on a Sunday morning.

Aqueduc Saint Clement.

As the morning moved on, the streets and sidewalks started to get busy.

Good thing the water is not a couple inches lower!

Au revoir en France pour la moment!!
