It is off to Toulouse on this rainy day. The forecast called for about 2 inches of rain and lots of wind. Most of the peloton opted for a train ride to Toulouse but not Art and I! And yes, the last blog was actually stage 5 and stage 4 remains unwritten. More struggles with working on an iPhone.
For the most part, we kept the camera in our pocket and our head down grinding the 40 plus rainy miles along the canal. However, we did occasionally stop under a tree or bridge to wring out our gear and have a snack.
About the only thing out today besides Art and I were the ducks and the working barges.
As we approached Toulouse things started to feel like a big city.
We arrived in downtown Toulouse then grabbed a late lunch and even got a few glimpses of the sun! Journey completed, Bordeaux to Toulouse by bike! Actually not my first time….
