Bordeaux – Encore, France

Today was all about walking in and around Bordeaux, something I was unable to do when I visited here in 2018. Check those blogs out here and here and here. The weather was nicer then!

Danny and Nicole ran into their brethren.

I really want to come back to this place later tonight, I think it is a bar but I’m not sure!

Fresh veggies all over the place!

Pont Pierre, a bridge I have ridden before, tomorrow our bike journey starts here….. I hope the rain eases up.

This is a tidal river so it has large fluctuations in depth.

Reflection pool in front of Place de la Bourse, a historical town square.

Of course no trip to the South of France would be complete without seeing some 2000 year old Roman Ruins, in this case, Palais Gallien.

These ruins are smack dab in the middle of a residential neighborhood.

Nearby we had a nice stroll through Le Garden Public which was created in about 1746. Not too shabby!

Strolling through the park.
