As usual, for our last full day of immersion, I was up early. I cooked up a cup of coffee then headed to the airstrip for the sunrise.

There were wisps of smoke along with interesting clouds.

It was quiet, calm, and peaceful. All of that was going to change the next day when we return to the real world.

After a little while, Tom came from camp to join me. I told him he looked like a walking construction sign.

Over the last three weeks we had dropped a little extra gear at both Stonebraker Ranch and the Chamberlain Guard Station. I decided to take a walk and gather it all up.

It’s always nice to walk over to Stonebraker and have a friendly welcome from Dave and Beth. We sat on the porch and visited over coffee.

Later in the day we all headed back over to the Ranch for a wonderful dinner. We spent the day relaxing and organizing for the fight out the next morning.
