Northern Lights – McCall, Idaho

I’ve been hearing about how we are going to see the Northern Lights here in McCall over the last week since I’ve been back in town and with a great view of the northern skies, you know I was up at O-dark thirty to do some shooting. Other than the airplane in the top right corner and a weird glow on the horizon, I was underwhelmed and went back to bed.

After a week of grinding gravel with Texas Tim, I needed to stretch my hiking legs a little before I start my next big adventure. Jigsaw is always a good local option.

This is the third or fourth trip up jigsaw this year and I probably shot this tree every time.

I’m going to be out on an ITA special mission for a bit so there will not be any fresh Davefaitlemonde.com posts for a while. Rest assured, I shall return!
