Tour de Flanders, Belgium

Today we are doing a metric century in the area to the south of Bruges which is know as the region of Flanders. It is a famous cycling region and today we found out why.

Oh my! This place is beautiful!

Another European castle.

I came up on this section of forest and road and started shooting like crazy!

How many different shots can I get with cyclist, trees, cool lights and an amazing road.

Two more I think!

Dang! what an amazing sight!

Back on the tour, we are in the agricultural region of Belgium.

We had lunch on top of a small tower which allowed me so get a bird’s eye view.

After lunch, it was time for a tail wind section along the canals…. wind not pictured.

We rode mosly with a block tail wind and our guides later set we arrived back at the hotel faster than any other tour this season. So we have that going for us.

I love Flanders!
