Rotterdam (Day 2), Neatherlands

No visit to Rotterdam is complete without visiting the cube houses.

They are definitely interesting.

Most of the cube houses have permanent residence but one is open to the public.

For three euros a head, you can tour the inside. Quite interesting but I really don’t get it… The highlight of the tour was actually the door attendant gal wearing a very tight outfit and sporting a nipple ring… (not pictured) Actually it was shaped more like a dog bone so I don’t know what those are called. That alone was worth the 3 euros.

We spent the day moving around the city with our all day tram pass.

Het Park. It was a super warm day for this part of the world and all of Rotterdam was in the park barbecuing and smoking pot. (Not pictured)

Time for a terrifying trip up the Euromast. I can stand on tall mountains and be mostly ok with heights but these structures scare me.

The view of Rotterdam.

The Euromast.

One final video shot from out breakfast table. It looks at the train station. It is rush hour Monday morning. You can see the bikes, pedestrians, a couple of cars, the trams, and behind the building not pictured are the trains. Rush hour in Rotterdam! Now imagine what it would look like if everyone was in a car.
