Idaho Trails Association – Bear Creek Point (Day 4) – Frank Church Wilderness, Idaho

After the beat down stormy night it was a breezy and cold morning.

We began the day with breakfast and our now familiar commute.

Our goal today, walk to the start of the burn and work back to camp. This commute takes almost 2 hours.

A view looking west from Mahon Point.

The storm and following cold front brought in crystal clear air.

A close up of far off peaks.

Looking back towards camp at Bear Creek Point and the even more distant Middle Fork Peak. Both Peaks have lookouts. Our base camp is located just over the ridge on Bear Creek Point.

A digital blow up to see the lookouts.

Old Sag, before and after.

Jambalaya! Unfortunately no after shot but believe me the “A Team” leaves no stone unturned and no log uncut!

A work office with a view!

The obligatory ITA pose!
