Nice crisp Fall morning in early September for a mountain bike ride on Idaho’s premier mountain bike trail, Ruby Meadows, Loon Lake.

Loon Lake looking south. You can just take out the edge of Storm Dome in the v-notch to the right. See my previous post this summer when we hiked to the top of Storm Mountain and Storm Dome with John and Ruby.
Here is a photo taken on that hike from near the top of Storm Dome, Loon Lake is located just above John’s head but is just out of sight under the ridge.
