Storm Peak, Storm Dome, and Twentymile Lakes, Payette National Forest

Adventures with John Platt!!!  Today started with a 6:00 am departure from the house and drive to the Twentymile Trailhead, followed by a nearly 3 mile mountain bike, followed by a 5 mile hike to Storm Peak!  Pas de problem!!! Then we ascended to Storm Peak! Incredible views!!!  Here is an image of  Storm Dome (in the foreground) which we also bagged after Storm Peak!

  1. Thanks for the trip report. I’m going up to this area pretty soon. Would you say it would be OK to take some teenagers up Storm Peak and Storm Dome? So, Storm Dome is actually the more pointy one (compared to Storm Peak)?
